NJTAP2, our company of young artists ages 12-17, are admitted by open audition.  Under the guidance and direction of the Artistic Director, they are trained and mentored in an intensive rhythm tap program by the professional tap artists of the 1st Company and noted tap artists in the field of rhythm tap. These young artists have an opportunity to develop and refine their skills, learn tap history and develop their own personal style.  NJTAP2 has opportunities to perform in main stage concerts, provide community service and they perform Generation Tap, an arts education musical in school time assemblies throughout the state.  They have performed in approximately 40 schools,  appeared in various main stage productions  and made repeat appearances for challenged children at St. Joseph’s Hospital’s, Giggles Theatre, Paterson, NJ.
