Karen Callaway Williams

Karen Callaway Williams is an original member and first Dance Captain of the New Jersey Tap Ensemble.  She is the producer of Rhythms for Ruby, author of Gabriella’s Tap Shoes and Rhythms for Ruby (audio book).  Her Broadway credits include Play On! and Riverdance. She can be seen in the documentary, "Been Rich All My Life” was a guest on Sesame Street, interviewed in "Bojangles, the Legacy" for Showtime, featured in Essence Magazine and on the cover of Flow Magazine. Karen toured nationally and internationally with Riverdance, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Tap City on Tour, Tap Tel Aviv and performed with numerous Symphony orchestras. A graduate of Spelman College, Atlanta, Georgia, she is also an alumna of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center (AAADC) in New York City.
